Guided tours on foot and by bike in Pärnu

Guided tours

City air sets you free

1.5 hours / 90€

A walking or cycling tour covering the medieval period in the city of Pärnu. The tour’s title derives from a medieval rule whereby a peasant who had hidden from his lord within the city for at least one year and one day was entitled to freedom, and the lord could not reclaim him.

The walking tour mainly covers the areas within the town and castle walls – in other words, today’s town centre – whilst the cycle tour also takes participants to the suburbs and Old Pärnu, which were situated outside the town walls.

Ask for a quote. The length of the tour depends on whether you’d like just a tour of the city centre or an overview of the beach area as well.

A guided tour in Pärnu with music – in the footstep of the legendary composer and musician Raimond Valgre

1.5 hours / 200€

Join me for a walk through Pärnu in the footsteps of Raimond Valgre (1913–1949), one of Estonia’s most beloved composers and musicians.

We’ll walk from the city centre towards the Pärnu beach district, stopping at places connected to his summer romances and outside one of his former lodgings in Pärnu. We’ll finish at the statue of Raimond Valgre beside the Pärnu Kuursaal, where he played as a member of several summer orchestras.

Musician Madis Pilt.

For bike tours, a bike rental fee will be added to the tour price where necessary.
